As this has arisen already in our short campaign I just thought I would put this out there. I was reading through Cris Perkins' great Dungeon Master Experience articles on Wizards and thi one came up: Trust Gnome One.
Given the situation b/w some of the characters (esp relating to Antonio) I would appreciate if all players had a read.
For my part, I am usually okay with 'some' inter-party tension, but too often I have seen it become player vs player tension. If it can drive the narrative and doesn't involve players becoming defensive and then offensive then it is okay. Just remember to keep things in perspective and know there ARE consequences for going down this path (rather than finding a way to work together - it often takes a good bit of roleplaying (and ingenuity on the player part) to step in and be an arbitrator b/w two fighting PCs).
And if it continues… Well, in almost every likely case you have to wear the idea that at least one character is going to have to leave in some manner. Keep this in mind when 'roleplaying' your dislike of another PC and the consequences of going too far.
