RE spells. Again - the Basic Rules are FREE. Try and download the PDF. Most will be in there.
The spells aren't as flexible as Savage Worlds unfortunately. I felt very comfortable modifying those (mainly b/c they had good templates and weren't grouped into specific 'levels'). So most of the time, the spells were made up/modified (as they were supposed to be).
D&D spells have pretty strict parameters, b/c of having 9 levels.
Anyway. Eldritch Knights are restricted to Evocation (attack spells) and Abjuration (protection spells). Unfortuntley, spells that enhance speed, ability, even fighting are either Transmutation or Divination. On top of that there just aren't many spells yet.
A lot of your B&B spells were around enhanced mvt, so I chose Longstrider as your one non-Abjur/Evoc that you can have. LS gives you +10ft speed. The other option is Expeditious Retreat. Allows you to take another move with your bonus action. I couldn't go both b/c they are Trans.
Actually, sorry, Detect Magic is you only non-Abjur/Evoc (b/c you had it in B&B). Longstrider is in ring.
There really are no Wizard 1st level spells that enhance fighting. Not surprising really, but not a good mix for Eldritch Knight? Perhaps Protection from Evil & Good might be a better choice than an attack spell?
BTW, you have the component for Chromatic orb. See equipment. Components are NOT consumed unless the spell desc says they are. So you would not be limited with this spell. It and Witch bolt can both do lightning damage - you did have Lightning Bolt, that is why I chose them, but you are right - probably don't need both.
Being a partial caster, you only get up to 4th level spells. You get access to 2nd level spells at 7th level.
If you want to be better at magic (and still fight) you could try:
1. Bard (they are full casters now).
2. Sorcerer (but no armor profs)
3. Warlock w pact blade (Light armor)
4. Paladin or Ranger. Not full casters, but b/w full casters and minor casters (like Eldritch knight).
Feel free to ask more, or if one of these options sounds cool, I can build him as one of them, but remember, you will lose heavy armor for all but Paladin. To get better armor profs reqs Feats. You ONLY get one at 4th level and that is spent on your Dual Wielding. Without it, you are limited to Light weapons if using them in each hand (and won't get STR bonus to damage in off-hand).
